Regional Growth of Behdadplast

From its inception, Behdadplast designed a regional presence development strategy focusing on emerging and high-potential markets. Our initial export steps were taken in the Iraqi and Afghan markets, two countries with a significant need for quality raw materials for the packaging, construction, and agricultural industries. In 2019, the first polyethylene shipment was sent to Iraq, and after success in this market, strong trade collaborations were formed with Iraqi importers. Almost simultaneously, Behdadplast, by providing sustainable supply and technical consulting services, managed to gain a reliable position in the Afghan market as well. Continuing on the path of growth, Pakistan was placed on the agenda as another strategic market. Given the high volume of polymer material consumption in Pakistan and the market’s need for reliable suppliers, Behdadplast, by offering specialized grades and competitive pricing, has become one of the main options for Pakistani importers. Since 2023, Behdadplast has expanded its view to larger and more specialized markets.
